Having already suffered through one horrifically devastating relationship, Skye wasn't sure if she'd ever find love. But she couldn't stop her heart from wanting that someone special, just for her. When she meets Logan at a mandatory work party he doesn't tell her his real name... which just might ruin everything! This book covers the ups and downs of their romance from start to finish and you won't want to put it down. One of my favorite characters was Logan's mother who is a coastal Algonquin... and her way of life certainly called out to my American Indian roots :-) I'm not one to spoil endings... so I guess you'll have to find out for yourself whether or not Skye is able to forgive Logan for his deceit? Whether the ghosts from her past will come calling? And which wild sex scene is your favorite!

I loved reading about Skye and Logan. I liked that the story took place in corporate America. The relationship between all of the characters had an immediacy to them, that made me feel like I knew them right away. My favorite thing about the book is that it moves quickly, but covers a lot of ground. The side characters are so interesting, I wouldn't mind reading an entire book about them too. How did Tina and her man get together? And let me just say, Randall should be in every book! I am really looking forward to reading more from this author.

Reading this book was like a breath of fresh air!! Now in days its hard to find a good standalone such as this. I loved everything about this book from the characters to the storyline, to the different language. I'ma sucker for a happy ending, so to say i loved the ending would be a understatement. It was definitely different from what i read on a daily basis. I really look forward to reading future works from Ms Raven..

I really enjoyed thus read.
I loved how Skye and his mother connected.
Terrence was a surprise I did not see that coming at all when he was the a**hole
I loved the three amigos
Skye in labor was too funny best scene among others

This was a great read. Skye and Logan had a great story to tell. It was very realistic and easy to follow. It also had a happy ending, which is rare nowadays. I also enjoyed the setting of Corporate America. I'm used to reading about ghettos and projects. It was also a refreshing change from the drugs, guns and killing. I applaud the author for a job well done. VIP book reviewer.
